The iPhone Cases Celebrities Use
After making this Case Cafe website, I’m often asked about what kind of cases celebrities use. Not knowing what kind of cases are popular with the likes of Rihanna and Vanessa Hudgens, I flipped through some photos and put together a list of the iphone cases that these celebrities use. Now, sometimes it’s hard to tell which iphone case a celebrity is using, so I give a ‘certainty score’ for each. For most of them it was pretty clear what case it was.
Surprising Choice of Cases
What surprised me most was how ‘normal’ these phone cases were. Most of these phone cases can be found on Amazon for less than $30. I guess celebrities aren’t so different after all!…Except for Lenny Kravitz, and you’ll see why further down the list.
1. Vanessa Hudgens

About the Case:
Here is Vanessa Hudgens and her sister Stella Hudgens out for a run/going to the gym. The Hudgens sisters appear to only have one case between them, and that’s the Xtrememac iPhone 5 case. It has a turquoise bumper and a translucent coconut white back that lets your apple logo proudly shine through. It’s a bright, cheerful and slim case that doesn’t bulk up your phone.

About This Case:
From this photo you can see that Rihanna is vacationing somewhere tropical: Jamaica or Hawaii are my first two guesses. How did she get this case on board the plane? The TSA has been known to confiscate this brass knuckle case. And in fact you can be fined in California for publicly showing brass knuckles. Of course somehow this fits Rihanna’s personality as she chooses a case that’s borderline illegal. I mean, it’s an iphone case, and she found the one where she might get arrested!

About this Case:
From this picture it’s pretty hard to conclusively see which phone case Selena Gomez is using here. But since she is a spokesperson for Case-Mate.com, you can assume that she would be inclined to use their cases on her iPhone (she probably gets them for free!). Case-Mate’s Barely There case is, as the name suggests, a minimalist case that protects your phone while adding as little size and weight as possible. Case: Not a case, but an Old School iPhone Headset

About This Headset:
Of course Lenny Kravitz would carry around this large headset. I admit there’s something nice about gripping those receivers. I personally wish I had one of those candlestick phones from the 1940’s and 50’s. The headset is actually available in several colors: blue, pink, yellow, green as well as black and white.

Like Selena Gomez’s pink case above, these cases are known best for getting out of the way. The case matches her top, which may or may not mean that orange is one of Miley Cyrus’ favorite colors.
